Screen: Assets page (website)

A grid of square photo tiles, four across on a phone, with a switch between the selected profile and All Assets, Categories and Members filters, folder tiles inside a profile, and an asset's card that opens under its row or in a panel on the right.

Website only

This isn’t in the iPhone app; it’s on the website.

The Assets page is your inventory: every case and item as a square photo tile. It has two views, switched at the top: the selected profile (with its folders) and All Assets (everything you can see, with the Categories filter).

How to recognise it

Assets is the tinted tab or sidebar row. The large title reads All Assets, the profile's name, or a folder's name (and Select Assets while selecting). Under it sits a two-way switch, the profile's name on the left and All Assets on the right, then grey capsules for Categories (left, in All Assets) and Members (right, when the assets showing belong to more than one person). Tiles are squares with the name under them; cases wear a green CASE badge.

A search field (Search assets) is at the top right of the window. The toolbar beside the title holds a new-folder button (inside a profile, for editors), the sort button, the ··· menu and a blue New Asset button. Tiles fill the width in columns. Opening an asset shows its details in a panel on the right, with its ··· menu, an X and an Edit Asset button. Hovering a tile shows a small ··· on it; right-click for the same menu. Drag a tile onto a folder to file it, or onto another asset to make a folder for both.

The search field sits in the bar at the top, just above the large title; the grid is four tiles across, and the green + at the bottom right makes a new asset. Tapping a tile opens its card under that row; tapping again closes it. Press and hold a tile for its menu.

What's on it

  • The switch: the profile's name shows that profile's folders and the assets filed in them; All Assets shows everything, flat.
  • Categories (All Assets only) and Members: capsules that open a list with Select Multiple at the top. Tapping one entry shows just that one; tapping it again shows everything; turn on Select Multiple to combine. Just Mine under Members shows only your own.
  • Folder tiles (inside a profile): coloured cards with the folder's name and "N assets · N folders". Tap to open; a Back button then names the level above. Folder menu: Rename, New Subfolder, Assign to Profile, Delete Folder, Remove Assets from {Profile}, Delete Folder and Assets.
  • Sort (the up-and-down arrows): Name (A-Z), Date Added (Newest), Date Added (Oldest), Weight (Heaviest), Value (Most).
  • ··· on the page: Select, and with advanced features on, Export CSV… and Import CSV… (Pro).
  • An asset's card: photo (with a small eye: tap for full size), name, brand, model, category, folder, weight, size, CASE, Find My: name, Private, Owned by someone, tags. Editors tap the details (chevron) to edit.
  • An asset's menu: Select Multiple, Edit Asset, Change Category, Duplicate, Move to Folder, Use as Folder Photo (inside a folder), Remove from {Profile}, Delete.
  • Select: tick circles on the tiles, Select All / Deselect All at the top, and a floating bar with the count and Delete, Remove, Profiles, Folder, Category.
  • Empty states: No Assets Yet with + New Asset; No Assets in {Profile} with + Assign Asset and + New Asset; No Results for "…".
