Three things narrow the Assets page: the search field, the Categories menu and the Members menu.

Search
- On the Assets page, tap the search field (Search assets…) and type.
- Results match the name, brand, model, serial number, tags, category name and the Find My name. Typing "find my" or "airtag" lists every tracked asset.
- In a profile, search looks through the open folder and everything inside it (the whole profile from the top level). Folder tiles hide while you search.
Categories (shown in All Assets): tap the capsule on the left. The list shows each category in use with a count, and All Categories with the total.
- One at a time (the default): tap a category to see just that one; the list closes. Tap it again to go back to All.
- Several: turn on Select Multiple at the top of the list. The ticks become circles, taps add or take off, and the list stays open. Turning the switch off with several chosen goes back to All.
Members (shown on the right when more than one person's assets are on the page): the same two modes, with Just Mine and All Members at the top, then one line per member. Nobody ticked means everyone.
The filters are remembered on this phone, and each applies only where its menu shows and only to what's in the view, so a remembered choice never leaves the page empty.
Smart Search on the Home page (the search button at the top right, "Search for anything across the whole app") finds assets too, and opens the asset's card on the Assets page.
Website
On the website
- The Search assets field is in the bar at the top of the page (on a phone, just under the title).
- The Categories and Members capsules work exactly as above, with Select Multiple at the top of each list. Categories are remembered in this browser; Members per signed-in person.
- On a computer, the sidebar's Assets section lists the categories with counts; clicking one is the same choice as the Categories menu, and All Assets there clears it.
- The search button in the top bar opens Smart Search ("Search assets, packs, trips, stops, events, orgs, projects…").
Good to know
- From 1.0.1, Categories and Members pick one at a time by default; Select Multiple is the switch for combining. The same Categories menu is in the sheets for adding assets to a pack, to a stop or to a profile.
- Sorting is separate: the sort button at the top right (Name (A-Z), Date Added (Newest), Date Added (Oldest), Weight (Heaviest), Value (Most)).
- If something is missing rather than filtered, see My assets or trips seem to have gone.
