Icons and colours on the website

Blue is the app and anything you can press, green means logged, done or add, amber means still to do, red means delete or remove. The icons follow the iPhone app's: a box for assets, a suitcase for cases and packs, a route for trips, three dots for a menu, an eye to look, a pencil to edit, a bell for a reminder.

Website only

This isn’t in the iPhone app; it’s on the website.

The website uses the same colours and symbols as the iPhone app, so a colour means the same thing on every page.

Colours

  • Blue: Luggage Logger's own colour. The selected tab, links and buttons, today on the calendars, the PRO badge, the countdown pill and in-progress rings on Home, and the Checked in state of a bag.
  • Green: logged, done and add. The Logged pill, the CASE badge, a green stop icon (everything logged), the selected day on a trip's Dates and the Compact calendar, the Log All and + buttons, show days on the Calendar, and a finished ring with a tick.
  • Amber: still to do. A stop icon with assets still to log, travel days on the Calendar, the Remove action on the Assets page's Select bar, and Clear All Fields in Edit Day Details.
  • Red: deleting and removing: Delete, Remove from Stop, Sign Out, and error messages.
  • Grey: nothing assigned (a grey stop icon), past stops, and an unselected option.
  • Orange and purple on Home only: Assets is orange and Members is purple in the Overview card and Quick Actions (Packs blue, Trips green).
  • A profile's colour (its own): the ring round its logo, the wash on pack cards and trip tickets, the dot beside its name, the bar on calendar cards, the count on a pack folder in the Logger, and calendar chips that aren't a show, travel, off, rehearsal or prep day. Each folder on the Assets page has a colour of its own too.
  • Calendar chips: green show, amber travel, sky blue day off, purple rehearsal, blue prep; a thin bar is a blank day inside a trip.
  • People: a person's initials sit on one of eight colours (blue, purple, teal, pink, indigo, orange, brown, forest green), the same colour for them everywhere, including the iPhone app.

Icons

  • Box (shippingbox): assets and items. Suitcase: cases and packs. Route (a curved line between two points): trips. House: Home. Calendar: Calendar.
  • Three dots (···): a menu with more actions. On a computer it appears when you hover.
  • Chevron (›): opens something; pointing down, it expands a card, case or version.
  • Pencil: edit. Magnifying glass: search. Up-and-down arrows: sort. Folder with +: new folder.
  • Eye: look at something: an asset's photo full size, a stop's activity on Home, the Logger's View Options. Eye with a line: hide.
  • Tick in a circle: select, or Log Assets. Tick on a green disc: logged or installed. Circle: not selected.
  • Lock: private (an asset only you see, a private date, a Master Tour day you can't edit here).
  • Bell: a reminder is set on the stop. Bell with a slash: remove it.
  • Tag on a bag's photo: an airline bag tag is attached. Bag: hand luggage.
  • Map pin: the day's venue, hotel and places. Note: day notes (blue when there are some).
  • Two people: sharing and members. Gift: Refer a Friend. Hand wave: the welcome tour. Clock with an arrow: the Changelog, or a pack's version. Question mark in a circle: Help. Gear: Settings. A rectangle with an arrow leaving it: sign out.
  • Stop icons on a Schedule: aeroplane (flight), coach (bus), tram (train), car (drive), ferry, bed (hotel), microphone (show), knife and fork (food), arrow down to a line (load in), arrow up from a line (load out), suitcase (luggage); a plain dot is a stop with no type.
  • Rings on Home: blue with "logged/total" while a stop is being logged, green with a tick when every case is in.
  • Route dots in the NEXT UP strip: green for days done, a pulsing blue dot for today, grey for days to come.
  • Badges: CASE (green) on a case; PRO (blue) on a Pro feature; v2 on a pack with more than one version; ARCHIVED on an archived pack.
  • Log pill: a dashed green Log means tap the card to log it; a solid green Logged with a tick means it's done. On a flight a bag in the hold shows In the hold, Not checked, Checked in or Collected instead.
