Deleting removes the asset for everyone, from every profile and every pack. It can't be undone. Only the person who added the asset (its owner) can delete it. Anyone else takes it out of a profile instead.
iPhone app
On the iPhone app
- On the Assets page, press and hold the asset's tile.
- Tap Delete (at the bottom of the menu, below the line).
- Confirm with Delete Asset. The message says: "Are you sure? It will be deleted from every profile. This can't be undone."
Or open Edit Asset, scroll to the bottom, tap Delete Asset, then Delete.
To take someone else's asset out of a profile you edit: press and hold it and choose Remove from <profile>. It leaves that profile only; it stays in All Assets and in any other profile it's in. The same button sits at the bottom of Edit Asset when the asset isn't yours.
Website
On the website
- Press and hold the tile (or right-click, or tap its ···) and choose Delete, then Delete Asset.
- Or open Edit Asset and tap Delete Asset at the bottom, then Delete.
- Remove from <profile> is in the tile's menu, as on the iPhone (the website's edit form doesn't have it). The message that appears afterwards has Undo while the asset can be put back.
Good to know
- Several at once: press and hold a tile, choose Select Multiple, tick the assets, then tap Delete in the bar at the bottom. Only your own are deleted; other people's are skipped (the message says how many), so use Remove for those.
- If Delete isn't in the menu, the asset isn't yours. Ask its owner, or remove it from the profile.
- A deleted asset also leaves the packs it was in.
- A whole folder of assets: press and hold the folder for Delete Folder and Assets (see Folders: organise a profile's assets).
- Deleting a profile deletes the assets you own that are only in that profile; assets that are also in other profiles, and other people's assets, are kept.
