Terms of Use
Last updated: 2 October 2026
Covers the Luggage Logger apps and luggagelogger.com, including the web app.
The basics
These terms are an agreement between you and Thomas Williams, who runs Luggage Logger from the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Luggage Logger, you agree to them. If you use it for a band, company or other organisation, you're agreeing for them too, and confirming you're allowed to. You need to be at least 16.
How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens under it, including who you invite into your profiles and trips and the roles you give them.
Your content stays yours
Everything you put into Luggage Logger, such as assets, photos, packs, trips, notes and documents, stays yours. You give us permission to store, copy and show it only as needed to run the service for you and the people you share it with: keeping it in step across your devices, showing it to your crew, and making the documents you ask for. We don't use it for advertising or to train AI models.
Only upload what you have the right to. People you share a profile or trip with can see what's in it and, depending on their role, change it.
Using it fairly
Please don't:
- break the law, or use Luggage Logger to help anyone else do so;
- upload anything illegal or harmful, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- try to get at accounts or data you haven't been given, or get round the service's limits or security;
- overload, disrupt or attack the service, or scrape it with automated tools (the AI connector, used as intended, is fine);
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law allows it;
- use it to harass anyone or to send spam.
Found a security problem? Tell us at support@luggagelogger.com and give us a chance to fix it before you share the details.
Luggage Logger Pro
Pro is an optional subscription sold through Apple's App Store. Apple takes the payment and handles billing, renewals, cancellations and refunds. The apps and your subscription are governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; these terms sit alongside it, and if the two disagree about the apps or your subscription, Apple's applies.
Pro renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings (Support shows how); you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. A free trial, where one is offered, is for new subscribers and becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Pro can't be bought on the web, but a subscription bought in the iPhone app applies to your account on the web too. What Pro includes may change; if we take away something significant, we'll tell you in advance.
Other services
Some features connect to services we don't run: Master Tour, flight data, Apple Maps, and AI assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT. Their own terms apply to them, and we aren't responsible for what they provide or whether they're available. If you connect an AI assistant, it can read and change your data when you ask it to; changes it makes for you are yours, so check its work.
Provided as it is
We work hard to keep Luggage Logger reliable and your data safe, but it's provided “as is” and “as available”, without any promise that it will always be available, free of errors or right for a particular purpose, as far as the law allows. It helps you keep track of equipment; it doesn't replace your own checks, your insurance, or the processes of airlines, venues and carriers. Flight details come from other companies and may be late or wrong.
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost, damaged or delayed equipment or luggage, or for lost profits, business or data. Otherwise, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of £100 and what you paid for Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you're a consumer, your legal rights aren't affected.
Ending your account
You can stop using Luggage Logger and delete your account at any time: Settings › Danger Zone › Delete Account (Support shows where). Deleting your account doesn't cancel Pro; cancel that with Apple.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, puts other people or the service at risk, or that the law requires us to close. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you first and give you the chance to put things right or get a copy of your data. If we ever close Luggage Logger, we'll give you reasonable notice and a way to get a copy of your data.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect, and if you keep using Luggage Logger after that, the new terms apply. The date at the top shows the latest version.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to its courts. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you can also bring a claim where you live, and you keep the protection of your local consumer law.
