Screen: Settings page (website)

Settings is opened from the profile menu. Grouped sections run down the page: Install Luggage Logger (when offered), Account, Preferences, Notifications, Integrations and Data Management (with advanced features on), About, Danger Zone and Sign Out.

Partly ProWebsite only

This isn’t in the iPhone app; it’s on the website.

Settings holds your account, your units and the switches for the website on this browser. Open it from the profile button: Settings is near the bottom of the profile menu.

How to recognise it

The large title is Settings and the web address ends /app/settings. The page is a column of grey rounded sections with small capital headings: ACCOUNT, PREFERENCES, NOTIFICATIONS, ABOUT, DANGER ZONE, plus INTEGRATIONS and DATA MANAGEMENT with advanced features on. The bar's title reads Settings once you scroll.

Website on a computer

On the website (computer)

The sections sit in a column in the middle of the window. Switches are on the right of their rows; Appearance and the units are segmented controls.

Website on a phone

On the website (phone)

The same column, full width, with the tab bar below.

What's on it

  • Install Luggage Logger (only while the browser offers it, never inside the installed app): an Install button; afterwards the row reads Installed with a green tick.
  • Account: Name (press to change it), Email, Subscription (Free, Pro, Pro (complimentary), Pro (referral), with a renewal or expiry date), Storage with a bar and "x of 250 MB" on Free or "x of 5 GB" on Pro, split into photos and documents, Change Password (a new password typed twice, at least 8 characters, then Update), and Refer a Friend.
  • Preferences: Appearance (System, Light, Dark; this browser only), Weight Unit (kg, lbs), Dimension Unit (mm, cm, inches), Clock Format (12h, 24h), and the Show Advanced Features switch. Units and the clock are your account's and apply in the iPhone app too.
  • Notifications: Notifications on this device (service messages in this browser; on an iPhone or iPad it asks you to add the website to your Home Screen first), News and offers (off unless you turn it on), Share usage statistics (on by default; turning it off deletes the days already counted).
  • Integrations (advanced features on): AI Connector with its address and a Copy button, or a PRO badge and Included with Pro on a free account.
  • Data Management (advanced features on): Export Assets (CSV), Export Trips (CSV), Export Packs (CSV), Import from CSVs, Import Assets (CSV). All need Pro; pressing one on a free account explains Pro instead.
  • About: Version and Build.
  • Danger Zone: Delete Account, which asks twice (Continue, then Delete My Account).
  • Sign Out (red), which asks first.

Common tasks from here

Good to know

  • Pro can't be bought on the website: subscribe in the iPhone app and the website shows it. Pressing a Pro feature here opens a Luggage Logger Pro sheet that says so.
  • Master Tour and Cloud Sync are in the iPhone app's Settings only.
