Screen: the profile menu (website)

The profile button opens a sheet titled Profile: your profiles to switch between, Add Profile and Join by Link, Show Archived, then Welcome Tour, Changelog, Help, Refer a Friend and Settings, and Sign Out at the bottom. Each profile has a ··· menu with Sharing, Rename, Industry, Colour, Archive and Delete or Leave.

Partly ProWebsite only

This isn’t in the iPhone app; it’s on the website.

The profile menu is where you switch between your profiles (a band, a company, a family), add or join one, and reach the things that belong to the app rather than to a page: the welcome tour, the Changelog, Help, Refer a Friend, Settings and Sign Out.

How to recognise it

Its title is Profile. The list starts with your profiles, each with its logo or initials in a coloured circle, a small caption where it applies (Shared, Shared trip, Archived) and a blue tick on the one you're using. Then two blue rows, Add Profile and Join by Link, then Welcome Tour, Changelog, Help, Refer a Friend and Settings, and a red Sign Out. At the very bottom: "Signed in as" your email.

Website on a computer

On the website (computer)

It opens as a popover when you press the profile row at the top of the sidebar (your logo, name and the word Profile): below the row on a wide window, beside the profile circle on a narrower one where the sidebar is a rail. Click outside it to close. Hover a profile for its ···, or right-click it.

Website on a phone

On the website (phone)

It slides up from the bottom when you tap the profile circle at the top left, with an X to close. Press and hold a profile, or tap its ···, for its menu.

What's on it

  • A profile: tap it to switch. You stay on the page you're on; Home shows the new profile's dashboard, and Assets, Packs and Trips reload for it. Tapping an archived profile unarchives it.
  • A profile's menu: Sharing (members and invitations), Rename (editors and up), Industry: … (owners and admins; which categories the profile offers), Colour (this browser only), Archive / Unarchive, and in red Delete (your own profile) or Leave (one shared with you). A profile that only holds a trip shared with you offers just Colour and Archive.
  • Add Profile: a New Profile form with Name (the keyboard is ready on it), Description and a Colour grid; Create at the top right. Free accounts can make three profiles of their own; shared ones don't count.
  • Join by Link: paste an invitation link or code into Invite link or code and press Join; on a phone with a camera there's a Scan QR Code row first, which opens Join by QR. You see what you're joining before anything changes.
  • Show Archived (N) / Hide Archived: appears once a profile is archived.
  • Welcome Tour replays the introduction; Changelog opens what's changed; Help opens the help pages (the same articles your AI assistant answers from); Refer a Friend shows your code, QR code and Share and Copy Link; Settings opens Settings.
  • Sign Out asks Are you sure you want to sign out? first.
