Screen: the Logger (website)

The Logger for one stop: a stop navigator pill at the top, a green progress bar with Log All, then a card per case and item with a dashed Log pill that turns into a green Logged pill when you tap the card. Add Pack and Add Assets put gear on the stop.

Website only

This isn’t in the iPhone app; it’s on the website.

The Logger is where you tick off cases as they arrive at a stop. On the website it's the third level of a trip, opened from a stop's Log Assets (or a flight's Bag Drop, Disembarking or Bag Reclaim), from Home's NEXT UP strip, or from the installed app's Logger shortcut.

How to recognise it

The large title is Logger, with the date and location under it. Below is a rounded pill with ‹ and › either side of the stop's name and time. Then a thin green progress bar with "logged/total" and a green Log All button, and a list of white cards, each with a photo, a name and a capsule on the right: a dashed green Log or a solid green Logged with a tick. The bar at the top has an eye icon.

Website on a computer

On the website (computer)

Cards fill the centre of the window, each with its ··· on the right; right-click works too. Add Pack (blue) and Add Assets (green) sit under the list.

Website on a phone

On the website (phone)

The screen stays on while the Logger is open, each log gives a small buzz on phones that can, and the browser tab's name shows "7/12 logged". Press and hold a card for its menu.

What's on it

  • The stop navigator: the arrows step through the day's stops, including a flight's Bag Drop and Bag Reclaim. On the day's last stop, editors get a green + at the right end to add a stop.
  • A card: tap it to log it. Once logged it reads Logged on 29 Sep in green and the capsule turns solid; a logged card doesn't unlog on a tap. Cases wear a green CASE badge; a blue bag chip says Hand luggage; a small blue tag on the photo means an airline tag is attached.
  • On a flight: bags in the hold show Not checked, Checked in (blue) or Collected (green) instead of a Log pill; only hand luggage is logged there. At Bag Drop the photo has a + to add a bag tag; at Bag Reclaim it opens the bag's photos to swipe through.
  • Pack folders: a card per pack with the count in the profile's colour, "logged/total" and Log All; a Loose Items folder; Individual Assets for the rest.
  • A card's menu: Select, Add Airline Tag / View Airline Tag (flights), Mark as Hand Luggage / Remove Hand Luggage (flights), Undo Logging, Remove from Stop.
  • The eye (top right): View Options with Group by Pack (needs two or more packs) and, on a flight, Show Hand Luggage Only.
  • Select: a bar with Cancel, the count, All / None and an Actions menu (Mark as Hand Luggage, Remove Hand Luggage, Undo Logging, Remove from This Stop).
  • The trip's ··· menu here: Edit Stop (editors), Copy All Assets and, while you have assets copied, Paste Assets, Export Bag Tags PDF (flights), Unlog All on This Stop and, in red, Remove All from This Stop (editors).
  • A message such as "Drum Case 1 logged by Sam" appears when someone else logs a case while you're looking.
  • Empty states: No items assigned with Add Pack and Add Assets; No hand luggage flagged.
