What's inside a case on a stop

The Logger lists cases and loose items only. Logging a case covers everything packed in it. To pack and tick the items inside each case, use the pack's Packing Checklist.

From 1.0.1

The Logger is for moving gear: it lists each case as one line, plus any loose items, and logging a case covers whatever is packed in it. Counts on the Logger, Home and the Schedule are cases and loose items, for example "4 cases, 2 loose items".

Packing the items into a case

Use the pack's Packing Checklist (the pack's ... menu on the iPhone app, ⋯ on the website). It lists every asset in the pack, including what goes inside each case, and you tick them as they go in. See The packing checklist: ticking things off as you pack and load.

Good to know

  • View Case Contents was removed from the Logger in October 2026 (iPhone app 1.0.1, website 1.43.0). Items inside cases are no longer logged one by one.
  • An item whose case isn't on the stop shows as a loose item and is logged on its own.
  • On a flight, its Bag Drop and its Bag Reclaim, bags were always logged whole.
