The Logger is a stop's checklist. Every case and loose item you've put on the stop is listed with a Log button. Tap it as the case comes off the truck (or goes on) and the card turns green, with the time and who logged it kept for the crew. Each stop has its own list, so load-in and load-out are logged separately.
iPhone app
On the iPhone app
- In Trips, open the trip, tap the day, then tap a stop and tap Log Assets (or press and hold the stop and choose Log Assets). The page is titled Logger; the back button at the top left takes you back to the day's Schedule.
- The pill at the top shows the stop's name and time. ‹ and › step through the day's stops; on the last stop a + adds one (editors).
- One card per case, with its photo, name, a green CASE badge and a dashed green Log button. Items that aren't inside a case sit in a Loose Items folder with a count such as 2/5 and a Log All button.
- With two or more packs on the stop, each pack is a folder: a square in the profile's colour with its count, the pack's name, logged/total and Log All. Anything added on its own sits under Individual Assets.
- Add Pack and Add Assets are at the bottom. The eye button at the top right holds the view options; the ··· button next to it has the PDFs, Unlog All on This Stop and Remove All from This Stop.
Website
On the website
- Open the trip, then the day, then a stop's Log Assets button (or Log Assets at the top of its ··· menu). The installed web app's Logger shortcut opens today's trip (or the next one) at the latest stop that has started.
- The same pill, cards and folders, plus a progress bar with logged/total and a Log All button. The browser tab reads "7/12 logged" with the stop's name, the screen stays awake, and the eye button and ··· menu are in the trip's toolbar.
Good to know
- Colours: a dashed green Log means not logged yet; a solid green Logged with a tick means logged, with "Logged on 4 Oct" under the name. A count turns green when everything in it is logged, and a blue outline marks a selected card. On a flight, a bag in the hold shows Not checked (grey), Checked in (blue) or Collected (green) instead of a Log button, and a blue BAG TAG badge (a tag symbol on the website) or a blue Hand luggage chip marks those bags.
- "Logged" is one record per case or loose item at that stop, with who and when. Items packed inside a case ride with it: logging the case covers its contents, so a stop is all logged once every case and loose item is. Home's rings, the Schedule's green mark and the "all logged" alert count the same way.
- Viewers see the list read-only; the Logger role and above can log.
- The iPhone app logs offline and sends the logs when you're back online. The website needs a connection.
