Screen: The Logger page (iPhone app)

The Logger shows one stop at a time, with a stop navigator at the top, a card per case or item with a Log button that turns into a green Logged pill, pack folders with Log All, and Add Pack and Add Assets buttons at the bottom.

iPhone app only

This isn’t on the website; it’s in the iPhone app.

The Logger is where you tap each case as it arrives. It opens from Log Assets on a stop (or a flight's Bag Drop, Disembarking or Bag Reclaim).

How to recognise it

  • The title is Logger. Top left: a back button carrying the day's location. Top right: an eye and a ··· circle.
  • A glass capsule, the stop navigator: < and > chevrons either side of a centre pill with the stop's name and time, outlined in the profile's colour. On the last stop a + replaces the right chevron.
  • A list of cards: a thumbnail, the asset's name, a green CASE badge for cases, and on the right a Log button with a dashed green outline. Once logged the button becomes a solid green Logged ✓ pill and "Logged on 26 Sep" appears in green under the name.
  • With two or more packs at the stop, pack folder cards: a square in the profile's colour with the count, the pack's name, "3/12" (green when complete), a chevron and Log All or Logged. Loose assets sit under an Individual Assets header; items not in a case sit in a Loose Items folder.
  • Two buttons at the bottom: Add Pack (blue) and Add Assets (green).
  • Empty: No stops today ("Add stops in the Schedule tab.") or No items assigned with Add Pack and Add Assets.

What's on it

  • Log: logs that case or item at this stop. Log All on a folder logs everything left in it.
  • Centre pill: shows the stop. +: add a stop after this one; the Logger moves to it once it's saved.
  • Eye menu: Group by Pack (greyed out until the stop has two or more packs), and Show Hand Luggage Only on a flight.
  • Press and hold a card: Select, on flights and Bag Drop Add Airline Tag / View Airline Tag and Mark as Hand Luggage / Remove Hand Luggage, then Undo Logging (red, once logged) and Remove from Stop (red).
  • Press and hold a pack folder or Loose Items: Undo Log, Remove from Stop.
  • Select mode: a bar at the top with Cancel, "N selected", All / None and an Actions menu (Mark as Hand Luggage, Remove Hand Luggage, Undo Logging, Remove from This Stop). Tap cards to tick them.
  • ··· menu: Export Trip as PDF, Edit Stop (editors), Copy All Assets and, while you have assets copied, Paste Assets (Logger role and above), Export Bag Tags PDF (flights), Unlog All on This Stop (editors; asks first), Sharing (owners and admins), and Remove All from This Stop (red, editors; asks first).
  • Add Pack: the Add Pack sheet listing packs; Add Assets: the Add to this Stop sheet with tick rows, Select All and Add (N).
  • Pull down to refresh.

Good to know

  • On the flight itself only hand luggage can be logged; other bags show Not checked, Checked in (blue) or Collected (green) instead of a Log button. A BAG TAG badge on a thumbnail means an airline tag is saved; at Bag Drop a blue + on the thumbnail snaps one; at Bag Reclaim the thumbnail opens a full-screen photo pager.
  • Viewers can see the list but not log; loggers and above can.
