Select several assets in the Logger at once

Press and hold a card and choose Select, tick the others, then use the Actions menu to undo their logs, remove them from the stop, or on a flight mark them as hand luggage.

Select lets you act on several cases or items at once: undo their logs, take them off the stop, or, on a flight, mark them as hand luggage in one go.

iPhone app

On the iPhone app

  1. Press and hold any card in the Logger and choose Select. That card is ticked, and a bar appears at the top with Cancel, the count ("3 selected"), All and Actions.
  2. Tap other cards to tick or untick them. A ticked card has a blue outline. All ticks everything on the stop; it becomes None once everything is ticked.
  3. Tap Actions. Under Logging, Undo Logging undoes the logs of the ticked assets. Remove from This Stop (red) takes them off the stop. On a flight or its Bag Drop, a Hand luggage section adds Mark as Hand Luggage and Remove Hand Luggage. An action that doesn't apply to what's ticked is greyed out.
  4. Each action ends Select. Cancel leaves it without doing anything.

Website

On the website

  1. Tap a card's ··· button (or press and hold it) and choose Select.
  2. The same bar: Cancel, the count, All or None, and Actions with the same choices. Pressing Escape also leaves Select.

Good to know

  • You need the Logger role or above; Select isn't offered to viewers.
  • While selecting, tapping a card ticks it rather than logging it, and the Add Pack and Add Assets buttons are hidden until you're done.
  • On the website, moving to another stop ends Select; on the iPhone, tap Cancel before you move on.
  • Removing a case from the stop takes the items packed inside it with it (on the iPhone from version 1.0.1; before that only what you ticked came off). The assets themselves stay in your inventory.
  • The app confirms what happened: "Undid 3 logs", "Removed 3 items", "Marked 3 as hand luggage".
