The profile button is the circle at the top left of every tab, showing the selected Profile's logo or initials, ringed in its colour. Tap it to open the Profile menu.
iPhone app
On the iPhone app
The sheet is titled Profile. From the top:
- Your Profiles: one row each, with a tick on the selected one and a caption for a Profile that's Shared with you, one that only holds a Shared trip, or one you've Archived. Tap a Profile to switch to it. Tap an archived one to unarchive it.
- Press and hold a Profile for its actions: Sharing (members and invites), Rename, Industry: … (owner and admins; chooses which Categories the Profile offers), Colour (this phone only), Archive or Unarchive, and Delete (a Profile you own) or Remove (one shared with you: you leave it and the owner keeps everything).
- Add Profile and Join by QR (scan a share code to join someone's Profile or Trip).
- Show Archived (n) or Hide Archived, when you have archived Profiles.
- Welcome Tour, Changelog, Help (from version 1.0.1: opens this help at luggagelogger.com/help in your browser, iPhone steps first), Refer a Friend and Settings. A red number on Settings means new shares are waiting for you.
- At the top: X closes the menu, and the map pin button opens the all-time venues map across every Profile.
Website
On the website
On a phone the menu slides up from the bottom; on a computer it opens beside the profile row at the top of the sidebar.
- The Profiles, with the same captions. Right-click a Profile, or use its ··· button, for Sharing, Rename (editors and up), Industry (owner and admins), Colour (this browser only), Archive, and Delete or Leave.
- Add Profile and Join by Link: paste an invite link or code, or Scan QR Code where the browser has a camera.
- Show Archived (n), then Welcome Tour, Changelog, Help (this help, topic by topic), Refer a Friend, Settings and Sign Out, with "Signed in as …" underneath.
Good to know
- A free account can create three Profiles of its own; Profiles shared with you don't count. At the limit, Add Profile opens the Pro screen. See Luggage Logger Pro: what it adds, what it costs and how to subscribe.
- Archiving hides a Profile from lists, counts and the calendar on this account; nothing is deleted.
- A Profile's colour is kept on each phone or browser separately, so you can tell your Profiles apart however you like.
- Switching Profile keeps you on the tab you're on; Home shows the new Profile's overview.
- The venues map button is in the iPhone app's menu; there's no venues map on the website yet.
- Both menus have a Help row: the website's opens Help inside the web app, the iPhone app's opens the public help pages in your browser.
