Share a profile with your crew

Sharing a profile gives someone everything in it: its assets, packs, trips, schedules, logging, team notes and documents, at the role you choose. Only the profile's owner and its admins can share it.

1. Tap the profile button at the top left, then press and hold the profile and choose Sharing. (Or, on the Home tab with the profile selected, tap Sharing in Quick Actions, or the Members count on the Overview card.)
2. The sheet is titled Share followed by the profile's name, with Profile underneath.
3. Under Invite Member, type their Email address. People already in your other profiles are suggested as you type; tap one to fill it in.
4. Pick the Role: Admin, Editor, Logger or Viewer (it starts on Editor). See Roles and permissions: what Owner, Admin, Editor, Logger and Viewer can do.
5. Tap Invite. "Invited" and their name confirms it, and they appear under People.

Or show them a code: under Share by QR, pick a role and tap Generate QR (see Share by QR, Join by QR and join links).

1. Click the profile button at the top left, then right-click the profile (or click its ··· button) and choose Sharing. Or on Home, click Sharing in Quick Actions or the Members count.
2. Under Invite Member, enter the Email address, choose the Role and click Invite.

• The person needs a Luggage Logger account on that email address already. If they don't have one, the app says "No user found with that email": ask them to sign up first, or hand them a QR code or join link instead, which works once they've signed up.
• There's no accept step. They have access the moment you tap Invite; if their app is open they see "You've been added to" the profile. The profile appears in their profile list marked Shared.
• If someone is already in the profile, the app says so. The owner can't be invited: they already have everything.
• People who aren't the owner or an admin open the same sheet and see only "Only the owner and admins can see the member list". Members' email addresses are private.

• Sharing is free in both directions: a profile shared with you doesn't count towards the free limit on profiles of your own.
