Add a stop to a day

On a day's Schedule, tap the green + (iPhone) or Add Stop (website), give the stop a name, set its time and type, then tap Create. A flight or train sets up its own bag stops once saved.

Open the day's Schedule, tap the green + (iPhone) or Add Stop (website), fill in the stop and tap Create.

iPhone app

On the iPhone app

  1. On the day's Schedule, tap the green + at the bottom right. The Add Stop sheet opens with the keyboard ready on the name.
  2. Name (required) and Location. Address suggestions appear under the location as you type; tap one to use it. Current Location fills it in from where you are (the app asks for location access the first time).
  3. Current Time sets the start to now. From version 1.0.1, if the stop is on another day it first asks "Would you like to change to today's date?": No (grey, left) keeps the day you were on and takes only the time of day; Yes (green, right) moves the stop to today.
  4. Start Time and End Time. A new stop starts at 12:00 on the day. The end follows the start until you change it, and an end earlier than the start means the next morning (23:00 to 02:00).
  5. Timezone starts as the day's zone (its first stop's), or your iPhone's. Tap it to choose another: Wherever I am (your iPhone's zone) comes first, then the zones already on this trip, then every zone with a search by city. The clock you typed stays as typed. Arrival timezone appears once you've set an end time: change it for a journey that arrives in another zone.
  6. Approximate Time shows "~" before the time. Show on previous day, offered for stops starting before midday, keeps an after-midnight stop with the night before.
  7. Under Travel Details, Type sets the icon and which fields follow (see Stop types and their icons), and Members tags people (see Tag people on a stop and filter the Schedule by person). Fill in what you have: Flight Number, Terminal, Train Operator, Wi-Fi Network and Wi-Fi Password, Booking Reference, Vehicle Details.
  8. Notes takes anything else. Hide in Daysheet keeps the stop off the Day Sheet and Trip PDFs.
  9. Tap Create at the top right. The X at the top left cancels.

Website

On the website

The New Stop sheet has the same fields (the switches are written Approximate time and Hide in day sheet), with a date beside each time: Start date, Start time, End time and, once an end is set, End date. A name or a location is enough to save. Picking an address suggestion fills in the time zone when it's certain, or offers the country's zones when it has several. Current Time sits under the location and asks the same question. There's no Current Location button on the website.
