Edit a stop, including its notes

Open the stop and tap Edit Stop, or press and hold it and choose Edit Stop. Notes can be typed straight into the opened stop without the editor.

Tap the stop to open it, then tap Edit Stop; or press and hold the stop and choose Edit Stop. Notes can be typed straight into the opened stop.

iPhone app

On the iPhone app

  1. On the day's Schedule, tap the stop, then tap Edit Stop at the bottom left of its opened area. Pressing and holding the stop and choosing Edit Stop does the same, as does Edit Stop on a stop in the venue and hotel map.
  2. Change what you need in the Edit Stop sheet: the same fields as when you added it (see Add a stop to a day).
  3. Tap Save at the top right. The X at the top left discards the changes.

To change only the notes:

  1. Tap the stop to open it.
  2. Type into the Notes box ("Add notes for this stop...").
  3. Tap Done under the box. The note is saved (closing the stop or leaving the page saves it too) and reaches everyone on the trip. A stop with notes shows a blue arrow at the right of its row.

Website

On the website

The same: open the stop and click Edit Stop, or right-click it (press and hold on a phone), or use the ··· button in the opened stop. Finish with Save at the top right. Notes are edited in place in the same way, with Done under the box.

Good to know

  • Editing needs the editor role or above. Viewers and loggers see the details but no Edit Stop.
  • A stop that Master Tour keeps in sync (on a trip in Auto mode) opens read-only with a "Master Tour stop" banner. To change it, switch the trip to Manual mode in Edit Trip (see Import a tour from Master Tour (Pro)). On the website the button reads View Stop for these.
  • The time zone only changes when you pick one in the sheet, so opening and saving a stop never moves its time.
  • Saving a flight looks its number up again: when the flight is found, its name, times and time zones are set from the lookup, and its Bag Drop and Bag Reclaim times move to match (see Add a flight to a trip: Bag Drop, the flight and Bag Reclaim).
  • Changing the type, say from Flight to Train, hides the flight fields but keeps what was in them.
  • Edits made offline are saved on your device and sent when you're back online.
