Type names into Members when you add or edit a stop. They appear in capitals under the stop, and the funnel button at the top of the Schedule narrows the day to the people you choose.
iPhone app
On the iPhone app
- Add or edit a stop and, under Travel Details, find Members.
- Type a name in "Add name…" and tap return, or type a comma, to add it as a chip. Names already used on this profile's trips are suggested; tap one to add it. Tap the x on a chip to remove it.
- Save the stop. Its row now shows the names in capitals, such as "ANNA, BEN". On a journey with an end time the line adds a live status within a day of it: on a flight "takes off in 2 hrs 10 min", "lands in 45 min", "landed 20 min ago"; on a train, coach, ferry or drive "leaves in …", "arrives in …", "arrived … ago".
To filter the day by person:
- Turn on Show Advanced Features in Settings › Preferences, if it isn't already.
- On a day's Schedule, tap the funnel button at the top right, left of the ··· button. It only appears once a stop on the trip has members.
- Tap one or more names. The list shrinks to stops tagged with any of them; stops with nobody tagged always show. All people clears the filter, as does Show all when nothing matches ("No schedule items for the selected people").
Website
On the website
Members works the same ("Add crew member…", Enter or a comma to add, x to remove). The funnel button at the top right opens a People sheet with All people and every name, and also needs Show Advanced Features in Settings › Preferences.
Good to know
- Members are plain names, not accounts: tagging someone doesn't share the trip with them (see Manage members: change a role, revoke a trip, remove someone for that).
- A combined tag such as "Anna & Ben + Family" counts as Anna and Ben in the filter. Single letters and the word "family" are ignored.
- The filter is just for you. On the iPhone it clears when you go back from the day's Schedule to the trip's dates; on the website it's kept for the trip until you reload the page.
