The packing checklist: ticking things off as you pack and load

The packing checklist is the Logger. Add the pack to a stop on a trip, then tap each case as it's packed or loaded and it turns green. Your crew sees the same list.

The packing checklist is the Logger. A pack is the plan of what goes where; you tick things off against a stop on a trip, so the ticks belong to that day and your crew sees them too. The pack's own page has no tick boxes.

  1. Open the trip and the day you're loading for, and open the stop's Logger (see What the Logger is and how to read it).
  2. Add the pack to that stop (see Put assets or a pack on a stop). Its cases appear as cards, each with a dashed green Log button.
  3. As each case is packed, loaded or arrives, tap Log on its card: the button turns solid green with a tick and reads Logged, meaning accounted for (see Log a case, undo a log, or log everything at once).
  4. To pack and tick what goes inside each case, use the pack's own Packing Checklist in its ... menu (see What's inside a case on a stop).
  5. Anything still showing Log is what's missing. Everyone on the trip sees the same list update live (see Logging with your crew: live updates and who sees what).

The same: open the stop's Logger on the trip, add the pack, and tap each case's card (or its Log pill) as it's dealt with.

Good to know

  • Use the same pack on every stop of a tour: add it to each stop, and each stop keeps its own ticks.
  • You can also log from your Apple Watch, or ask Siri to log a case (see Log from your Apple Watch and Ask Siri to log, check and find things).
  • The ticks are shared: if someone else logs a case, it turns green for you too.
