Icons and colours in the iPhone app

Luggage Logger uses a small set of colours and symbols the same way everywhere. This is the key.

The four app colours

Blue: the app's own colour. Links, selected filters, the chosen plan, the PRO badge, the NEXT UP strip, and a blue tick on the current profile.
Green: done and go. Every round + button, Log and Logged, a selected day, the current stop, a show day on the calendar, "Saved".
Amber: take care. Assets still to log, Clear All Fields, Remove in the asset select bar, Clear Local Cache, Assets off on a trip share, an "Invited · not opened yet" line, travel days on the calendar.
Red: deleting. Delete rows, Sign Out, Delete Account, Remove from everything, Revoke, error messages.

House: Home. Box: Assets. Suitcase: Packs. Curved route line: Trips. Calendar: Calendar. Settings is not a tab; it's in the profile menu.

Profile button (top left): a circle with the profile's logo or initials, ringed in the profile's colour. Opens the profile menu.
Green round + (bottom right): add something new on this page: an asset, a pack, assets to a pack, a trip, a stop. On the Logger's stop navigator a small green + adds a stop after the last one.
Green + in a circle on a case or Loose Items in a pack: add items into it.
··· in a circle (top right): the page's menu: exports, rename, duplicate, delete.
Circle with up/down arrows: sort.
Folder with +: new folder or subfolder.
Magnifying glass with a blue sparkle (Home only): search across the whole app.
Eye: on the Logger, view options (Group by Pack, and Show Hand Luggage Only on a flight). On an asset's photo, from 1.0.1, a faint eye in a dark circle means a tap opens the photo full size. On Home's At a Glance, the eye opens that stop's activity.
Map pin: beside Back on a trip, the Trip Map; on a day's navigator, the venue and hotel sheet (blue-tinted when the day has places); in the profile menu, the Venues Map; on an opened stop, Map.
Note icon on the day navigator: day notes (blue-tinted when there are any).
Funnel: a filter: calendars, people on a schedule, profiles on the Venues Map.
Chevron > on a row: tap to open. < Name at the top left: back to that page.
X (top left of a sheet): close.
Curved undo arrow: put back what you just removed.

CASE in a green box on a tile or card: this asset is a case (a container); without it, it's an item.
Lock in a photo's corner: a private item only you can see.
x3 on a tile: several identical assets stacked as one.
A wide coloured tile with a tab on its top-left edge: a folder. Its colour is fixed per folder and means nothing else.
Circle / blue tick in a tile's corner: Select mode, unticked or ticked.
A blue outline around a tile or folder while dragging: drop here.

Suitcase, box and scales icons on a card: cases, items and weight.
v2 badge: the pack has earlier versions.
Tray icon: Loose Items.
Lock row "2 private items": items you aren't allowed to see.
In the add-to-pack sheet: green tick already in the pack, amber tick in the pack but in another case, empty circle not in it.

Ticket stub with a date: a trip card. The pill in the profile's colour is its length.
Day list: a blue rounded outline around a date is today; green text is the selected day; a coloured dot before a location is the profile's colour.
Stop mark on the left (a dot, or the stop's travel icon): grey nothing to log, amber assets still to log, green everything logged. Faded grey: a finished stop with nothing assigned.
Travel icons: plane flight, tram train, bus bus or coach, car drive, ferry boat, bed hotel, microphone show or gig, fork and knife meal, arrow down to a line load-in, arrow up to a line load-out, suitcase Bag Drop or Bag Reclaim.
Chevron down at the right of a stop: blue when the stop has notes, grey when it doesn't.
Bell: you've set a reminder on this stop.
A faint green wash on a row: the stop happening now. Greyed text: a past stop.
Blue pill with a plane: a flight number; tap for the live flight card (Pro).
Copy icon (two pages): copies that detail.
Lock with "Master Tour stop": kept in sync with Master Tour and read-only here.

Log with a dashed green outline: not logged yet. Logged ✓ in solid green: done. "Logged on 26 Sep" in green under the name.
3/12 on a pack folder or Loose Items: logged of total; green when complete.
Coloured square with a number: a pack folder, in its profile's colour.
Bag icon with "Hand luggage": marked as your carry-on for this flight.
BAG TAG in a blue box on a thumbnail: an airline tag is saved. A blue + on a thumbnail (Bag Drop): snap the tag. Small diagonal arrows on a thumbnail (Bag Reclaim): opens a full-screen photo.
Lock "In the hold", circle "Not checked", blue tick "Checked in", green seal "Collected": where a checked bag is on a flight.
Blue outline around a card: selected.

Ring with a count: logging progress at a stop; green with a tick when complete.
Small coloured circles with initials: who is logging. Each person has their own colour.
Route dots on the Overview card: green done, pulsing blue today, grey to come.
Blue countdown pill: when the next stop starts.
Calendar chips: green show, amber travel, sky blue day off, purple rehearsal, blue prep, the profile's colour for anything else; a thin bar is a blank day inside a trip. A blue-tinted cell is today.
Compact calendar: a coloured dot under a date means a trip that day, in its profile's colour.

Coloured ring around a logo: the profile's colour, chosen per phone. It also colours its packs, trips, calendar dots and pack folders.
Blue tick beside a profile: the one you're using.
PRO in a blue capsule: needs Luggage Logger Pro; tapping explains.
Amber crown: the Pro sheet's title.
Paper plane: send an invite. QR square: share or join by code.
Red number badge on Settings in the profile menu: invitations waiting.

A green banner with a tick: something worked. A red banner with a cross: it didn't.
No Connection / Offline Mode capsule above the tab bar: working offline; changes sync later.
Wi-Fi in green or aeroplane in Settings: online or offline.
