The same words appear on every screen, in the iPhone app and on the website. Here is what each one means.
- Profile: a band, company, family or team. Your assets, packs and trips live inside one, and a Profile is what you share with other people. Each has its own colour and logo. You switch Profiles with the profile button at the top left. (Older versions called this an organisation.)
- Asset: one thing you own and track: a case, a rack, a bag or a single piece of kit. Every asset is either an Item or a Case.
- Item: an asset that isn't a container, such as a microphone or a cable. Items can be put inside a Case.
- Case: an asset that holds other assets: a flight case, a rack, a bag or a suitcase. The Logger counts cases, and the items inside a case ride with it.
- Type: on an asset, whether it's an Item or a Case. On a stop, what kind of stop it is: Flight, Bus / Coach, Train, Drive / Car, Ferry / Boat, Hotel, Show / Gig, Food / Meal, Load-in, Load-out or Other.
- Category: what kind of kit an asset is, such as Audio, Lighting, Backline or Cables. A Category is suggested as you type a name. Which Categories a Profile offers depends on its Industry, set by the Profile's owner or an admin.
- Folder: a folder inside a Profile for filing its assets, up to three levels deep. Each Profile has its own folders.
- All Assets: the view of every asset you can see, across every Profile.
- Pack: a reusable kit: a list of Cases, what's in each, and loose Items, with a total weight. Build it once and assign it to a Stop on any Trip.
- Trip: the run: a tour, a job or a journey with dates. A Trip belongs to one Profile and can be shared on its own.
- Day: one date of a Trip, with its name, venue, hotel and notes. Days are listed on the Trip's Dates tab.
- Stop: one timed entry in a Day: a venue, a hotel, a flight, a train, a load-in. Each Stop is in its own local time. (Older names: leg, waypoint.) A flight makes two extra Stops for its bags, Bag Drop and Bag Reclaim; a train, coach, ferry or drive makes Disembarking.
- Schedule: a Day's Stops in order, on the Trip's Schedule tab.
- Logger: the Trip's third tab, where you tick off cases at a Stop. Tap a case as it arrives and it turns green. You can assign a whole Pack or single assets to a Stop.
- Group by Pack: a switch in the Logger that groups a Stop's cases by the Pack they came from.
- Members: the people a Profile or Trip is shared with, managed under Sharing. On the Assets page, the Members filter shows assets by who owns them; on a Stop, members are the people tagged on it.
- Roles: what a member can do. Owner: the person who made the Profile or Trip. Admin: can also manage members and sharing. Editor: can add and change things. Logger: can log cases at Stops (Profiles only; a Trip has Admin, Editor and Viewer). Viewer: read-only.
- Archive: hides a Profile from lists and counts without deleting anything. Show Archived in the profile menu brings it back.
- Private: a switch on an Item that keeps it to yourself, even in a shared Profile.
- Home: the first tab: your Profiles as tiles, and each Profile's overview.
- Calendar: every Day of every Trip, across all your Profiles.
- Show Advanced Features: a switch in Settings that shows the tools for bigger tours: Master Tour, the AI connector, importing and exporting.
- Pro: Luggage Logger Pro, the subscription that adds Master Tour, the AI connector, live flight data, ATA Carnet lists, CSV import and export, document storage, more than three Profiles of your own and more storage.
