These are the pages you see before you're signed in, at luggagelogger.com/app/login and /app/signup. They look the same on a computer and a phone: the app icon at the top, a heading, and one card in the middle of the screen.
How to recognise it
- Sign In: the heading Luggage Logger with Sign in to your account under it. The card has Email and Password boxes, Forgot Password? on the right, a wide blue Sign In button and Don't have an account? Sign Up. Under the card: ← Back to homepage.
- Sign Up: the heading Create Account with Start tracking your equipment. The card has Display Name, Email, Password ("Password (min 8 characters)"), Confirm Password, Referral Code (optional) with the note "If a friend invited you, their code goes here.", a blue Sign Up button and Already have an account? Sign In.
- Check Your Email: an envelope icon, Check Your Email, "We've sent a 6-digit code to:" and your email in blue, a large box for the code, a blue Verify button, a pale Back to Sign In button, and "Didn't get it? Check your spam folder, or Resend Code" (which counts down from 60 seconds after a send).
- Reset your password: Luggage Logger with Reset your password, then New password ("At least 8 characters"), Confirm new password and Set new password, with ← Back to sign in under the card; afterwards Your password has been updated. and Continue to app.
- Loading… under the app icon is the website starting up after you sign in.
What's on it
- Password on the Sign In and Sign Up cards has an eye on the right that shows or hides what you've typed.
- Forgot Password? needs your email in the box first; it then reads "If an account exists for …, a password reset link has been sent."
- A red box at the top of the card shows a problem, with an × to dismiss it. If it says Your email isn't confirmed yet., the Enter Confirmation Code button under it takes you to Check Your Email for that address.
- On Check Your Email, six digits submit on their own once they settle; pasting or the phone's suggestion works too. Pressing Confirm in the email signs you in as well.
- A referral code is eight letters and numbers; a wrong one holds the form with "Referral codes are 8 letters and numbers."
- The reset link in the email works on any device, so one sent from the iPhone app opens here.
