Signing in on a new iPhone or another device

Your account lives on the server, so a new device only needs your sign-in. Nothing has to be moved by hand.

1. Install Luggage Logger from the App Store and sign in with your usual email and password. Forgot Password? on the sign-in screen sends a reset link if you need one.
2. "Loading your data..." shows while you sign in, then the first download runs. From version 1.0.1, Home and the profile menu say Loading your profiles… (with a percentage on Home) until your Profiles arrive, so an empty list never means they're gone. Give it a minute on a large account. With no connection they say You're offline and download as soon as you're connected.
3. Pro: sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account that bought it and it usually comes back by itself; otherwise see I've paid for Pro but it isn't unlocked.
4. On the old phone, sign out (profile button, Settings, Sign Out) once its unsent changes have gone, or leave it signed in: using two phones is fine.

Go to luggagelogger.com/app and sign in with the same details. There's nothing to download; it reads your account directly.

What comes with your account: Profiles and their members, assets, photos, folders, packs, trips, Days, Stops, logs, bag tags, documents, stop reminders, which Profiles and packs you've archived, your units and clock format, and your plan. From version 1.0.1 the archived Profiles and packs, units and clock format arrive with the first download; before that they only arrived once you opened Settings.

What stays on each phone or browser, so set it again if you want it:

• Profile colours (each device picks its own).
• Show Advanced Features in Settings, and on the website the appearance (System, Light or Dark).
• Notification switches: Logging Activity and Manage Notifications, and the iPhone's permission to notify you at all.
• Which Profiles the Calendar shows.
• Hand luggage flags, which remind the phone they were set on.
• The welcome tour shows once per account on each new device.

A Master Tour connection is also per phone: enter your Master Tour key again on the new one.
