The code email usually arrives within a minute. It comes from "Luggage Logger" (support@luggagelogger.com) with the subject "Your Luggage Logger confirmation code".
First checks
- Look in Spam or Junk, and in Promotions or similar tabs. Search your mail for "Luggage Logger".
- Check the address on the Check Your Email screen: it shows where the code went. A typo means a new sign-up with the right address.
- Wait a few minutes. Work or school email can hold mail from new senders; ask whoever runs it to allow luggagelogger.com.
- The code and the Confirm Email Address button work for one hour. After that you need a new one.
To get a new code
On the website: go to luggagelogger.com/app/login and sign in with the email and password you chose. It says "Your email isn't confirmed yet." with an Enter Confirmation Code button: tap it, then Resend Code at the bottom. A new email comes ("A new code is on its way."). Type the code and Verify; you're then signed in, and the iPhone app takes the same details. Resend Code waits 60 seconds between emails.
On the iPhone app: on the Check Your Email screen, tap Resend Code under the code box (it counts down for a minute after each email). If you've left that screen, sign in with the email and password you chose: the app takes you back to Check Your Email and sends a fresh code (from version 1.0.1; in 1.0, sign up again with the same email and password instead).
Good to know
- "That code has expired or isn't right" means an old or mistyped code: use the newest email, every digit.
- The account exists but isn't active until the address is confirmed, so nothing is lost by waiting.
- If nothing arrives after the above, email support@luggagelogger.com from the address you signed up with.
