You can change a trip's name, its first and last day, and its notes at any time. You need to be able to edit the trip (editor, admin or owner).
iPhone app
On the iPhone app
- Open the trip from the Trips page.
- Tap the ··· button (three dots in a circle) at the top right and choose Edit Trip. You can also press and hold the trip's ticket on the Trips page and choose Edit Trip.
- In the Edit Trip sheet, change Trip Name, tap Start or End under Dates to pick new days, or edit Notes.
- Tap Save at the top right.
To change only the name, press and hold the ticket on the Trips page and choose Rename, type the new name and tap Rename.
Website
On the website
- Open the trip, click the ··· button at the top right and choose Edit Trip; or use the ··· on the trip's ticket on the Trips page.
- Change the name, dates or notes and click Save.
- Rename on the ticket's menu on the Trips page changes just the name.
- The trip page's ··· menu also has Duplicate, which makes a copy named "(copy)" with the same dates but no stops. The iPhone app has no Duplicate.
Good to know
- Making the trip longer adds blank days; making it shorter hides the days outside the new dates. A day's details are edited on the day itself (see Edit a day's name, venue, hotel and notes).
- A trip has no logo or photo of its own. Its ticket, calendar dots and PDFs use its profile's colour and logo.
- A trip stays in the profile it was created in; the sheet doesn't offer a profile to move it to.
- On the website, trip notes show at the top of the Dates page. In the iPhone app they're read in Edit Trip.
- A trip linked to Master Tour has an extra Master Tour Mode choice in Edit Trip, on an iPhone that's connected to Master Tour (see Master Tour trips: automatic and manual updates, and why some stops are locked).
