Create a trip

Tap the green + on the Trips page (or on a Calendar date), give the trip a name, set its start and end dates, and tap Create. It's saved in the profile you have selected.

A trip is a run of dates with a schedule for each day. You give it a name and its first and last day; everything else (venues, hotels, stops) is added day by day afterwards.

iPhone app

On the iPhone app

  1. On the Trips page, tap the green + at the bottom right. (In an empty profile, tap + New Trip instead.)
  2. The New Trip sheet opens with the keyboard ready on Trip Name. Type the name.
  3. Under Dates, tap Start and pick the first day on the calendar, then tap End and pick the last day. The end can't be before the start: moving the start past the end moves the end with it.
  4. Add anything useful under Notes (optional).
  5. Tap Create at the top right. X at the top left closes without saving.

You can also start from the Calendar tab: select a date and tap the green + there, and the new trip starts on that date.

Website

On the website

  1. On Trips, click New Trip (top right on a computer) or the green + (bottom right on a phone).
  2. Fill in Trip Name, Start, End and Notes, then click Create. The form says which profile the trip will be saved in ("Saved in …").
  3. The trip opens straight away on its Dates.

On the website's Calendar, the green + on a selected date also makes a new trip starting that day.

Good to know

  • The trip is saved in the profile you have selected (top left). It stays in that profile: a trip can't be moved to another profile later.
  • You need to be an editor, admin or owner of the profile to create a trip in it.
  • A trip is one or more whole days. Times, time zones and places belong to the stops you add to each day (see Add a stop to a day).
  • To bring in a whole tour from Master Tour instead of typing it, see Import a tour from Master Tour (Pro).
