Tap the notes icon to the left of the date on a day's Schedule. Day Notes holds anything about the day as a whole, rather than one stop.
iPhone app
On the iPhone app
- On the day's Schedule, tap the notes icon in the day navigator (the second icon left of the date; the map pin is the first). It's tinted blue when the day already has notes.
- The Day Notes sheet opens at half height with the notes. Web links and phone numbers in them are tappable, and you can select part of the text to copy it.
- To write, tap Edit at the top right, type in the box ("Add notes for this day..."), then tap Done. Closing the sheet saves too.
Website
On the website
The same notes icon opens Day Notes, with Edit and Done for editors. Right-clicking (or pressing and holding) the date in the day navigator also offers Day Notes.
Good to know
- Everyone on the trip sees the same day notes. Writing them needs the editor role or above; others see them read-only, or "No notes for this day." when there are none.
- The same notes are the Notes field in Edit Day Details (see Edit a day's name, venue, hotel and notes), which locks them on a trip Master Tour keeps in sync (see Import a tour from Master Tour (Pro)).
- Notes for one stop go on the stop itself (see Edit a stop, including its notes).
- Day notes print on the Day Sheet PDF and on the Trip PDF (in the iPhone app's from version 1.0.1; see Trip PDFs: day sheets, the trip overview and the bag tag sheet).
