Trip PDFs: day sheets, the trip overview and the bag tag sheet

The trip's ··· menu has Export Trip as PDF anywhere in the trip, Export Day Sheet as PDF on a day's Schedule, and Export Bag Tags PDF on the Logger of a flight. The iPhone app previews the PDF to share or print; the website prints it from the browser.

Three PDFs come from a trip, each from the ··· button (three dots) at the top right:

  • Trip overview: every day in order, each with its date and day name, venue, hotel and notes, and its stops with times, places and people.
  • Day sheet: one day: the venue, hotel and notes, then the day's schedule with times, places, people and stop notes.
  • Bag tag sheet: a flight's checked bags, one row per bag with the case's photo on the left and its airline tag's photo on the right, with the case name, surname and tag number.

All carry the profile's logo and name, the trip name and the date they were generated.

iPhone app

On the iPhone app

  1. Open the trip. For the overview, tap ··· on any page of the trip and choose Export Trip as PDF.
  2. For a day sheet, open the day's Schedule, tap ··· and choose Export Day Sheet as PDF.
  3. For a bag tag sheet, open the Logger at a flight, or at its Bag Drop or Bag Reclaim, tap ··· and choose Export Bag Tags PDF. If no tags have been added yet it says "No bag tags on this flight yet".
  4. The PDF opens in a preview. Use the share button to send it, save it to Files or print it; Close at the top left returns to the trip.

Website

On the website

The same three items on the trip's ··· menu. The browser's print dialog opens: choose Save as PDF (or a printer). For the bag tag sheet, the site first loads the photos; if that takes a moment it shows "Bag Tags PDF ready" with an Export button to press.

Good to know

  • Times print in each stop's own time zone and in your 12-hour or 24-hour choice (see Weight and dimension units, clock format and appearance).
  • A stop with Hide in Daysheet turned on is left out of both the day sheet and the overview. Bag Drop, Bag Reclaim and Disembarking stops are never listed separately: the flight or journey stands for them.
  • With Hide Blank Days on, the trip overview skips the blank days too.
  • Anyone who can open the trip can export its PDFs, including viewers.
  • From version 1.0.1 the iPhone app's trip overview prints each day's notes under its venue and hotel, as the day sheet and the website's trip PDF already did.
  • Pack lists and ATA Carnet lists come from a pack, not a trip: see Export a pack as a PDF and share it.
