Supplies are the small things a pack needs that you count rather than track one by one: gaffer tape, cable ties, Sharpies, batteries.
Make a supply
- While adding to a pack: in the pack's add sheet, tap New Supply on the Items side, type the name and how many, then Add. It's made in the pack's profile, ticked with that count, and the sheet opens the Supplies folder to show it.
- On the Assets page: make a new item and choose Supplies as its category. A case can't be a supply.
Either way it goes into the profile's Supplies folder, which is made the first time a supply arrives.
Add supplies to a pack
- Open the pack and add assets as usual.
- Open the Supplies folder. Each supply has a number box beside its tick.
- Type how many. Typing a number ticks it; 0 unticks it. Tapping the tick on its own adds one.
- Tap the green + to add everything you picked.
To change the count later, open the add sheet again and type the new number in the Supplies folder. 0 takes it out of the pack.
Good to know
- Supplies show only in their profile's Supplies folder: not in All Assets, other folders or search outside it.
- They belong to their profile. To use them in another profile, select them and add them to that profile; they go into its own Supplies folder.
- The count shows on the pack (x6) and in the Packing Checklist (× 6).
- Supplies never go on a stop: adding a pack to a stop, copying a stop and updating upcoming stops all leave them in the pack. The Logger is for cases and loose gear.
- They're left off Export for Carnet.
