Private items: hide an item from other members

A private item stays in the profiles it belongs to, but only you can see it there. Use it for things you want in your own packs without the rest of the crew seeing them.

1. Open the item's Edit Asset sheet (or New Asset for a new one).
2. Scroll to the bottom and turn on Private ("Hide this item from other members of any profile it's tagged to. Only you will see it on the Assets tab and in pack views.").
3. Tap Save.

A private item shows a small lock in the corner of its tile.

The Private switch is at the bottom of the asset form, with the same lock on the tile and "Private" on the card.

• Only the item's owner sees the switch, and only items have it. A case can't be private, because a case is logged by everyone.
• In a pack, other members see "2 private items" and "Hidden by owner" on a case instead of the items, and exports leave your private items out of other people's files.
• Private hides the item; it doesn't lock it. To keep an item out of a profile altogether, take it out of the profile instead.
