Duplicate makes more of an asset you already have: four of the same microphone, two of the same case. Each copy is its own asset, so each can have its own serial number later.

Good to know
- Copies carry the name, brand, model, category, tags, weight, size, value, notes and photo. The serial number is left empty.
- They're yours, and they join the same profiles as the original (those you can edit) and, when you're looking at a profile, the original's folder there.
- Another way to make several at once is the Quantity stepper on New Asset or Edit Asset (see Add an asset (a case or an item)).
- You can duplicate someone else's asset if it's in a profile you edit; the copies belong to you.
