Replace a case in a pack, or copy it to another pack

Two shortcuts save rebuilding a case from scratch: Replace Case keeps the contents but swaps the container, and Copy to Pack reuses a case, contents and all, in another pack.

1. Replace Case: press and hold the case and choose Replace Case. The Replace With sheet lists your other cases that aren't already in this pack (search with Search cases…). Tap one: the new case takes the old one's place in the pack, and every item that was inside moves across. A message confirms "Case replaced with …".
2. Copy to Pack: press and hold the case and choose Copy to Pack. The Copy to Pack sheet lists your other packs with their profile and counts (search with Search packs…). Tap one: the case and the items in it are added to that pack, and this pack is unchanged. A message confirms "Copied to …".

The same two actions are in the case's menu (the ··· on its row, a right-click, or a press and hold), with the same Replace With and Copy to Pack sheets. In Replace With, a case that's already in this pack is greyed out and marked "Already in this pack". When you copy a case, items already in the other pack stay where they are, and the message says how many.

• Both sheets list only cases and packs you own. A case that's already in the pack can't replace another: the iPhone app leaves it off the Replace With list (from version 1.0.1), the website greys it out.
• Copying a case to a pack that already has it shows "Case already in that pack".
• Copying doesn't link the packs: later changes in one pack don't follow to the other. To copy a whole pack, use Duplicate (see Rename, duplicate, archive or delete a pack).
• Assets copied into another pack join that pack's profile if they weren't in it already.
• Both actions are for editors, admins and owners.
